CloseVibrant, juicy red wine made mostly from Corvina, Rondinella and Merlot grapes grown on the family's hillside lands in Bardolino.
Guerrieri-Rizzardi was established in 1913 by two families of the same names, both of which have centuries-old histories of agriculture and winemaking in Italy. Starting with vineyards in Bardolino, the families gradually acquired properties in Soave, Valpolicella, and Valdadige in Alto-Adige. Today, these four estates craft beautiful, varietally-correct wines that each display a distinct sense of place.
The Guerrieri-Rizzardi Cuvée XV Bardolino Classico is a blend of mostly Corvina., Rondinella and Merlot grapes fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel and concrete vats. Medium-bodied, it offers aromas and flavors of blackberries, black cherries, and strawberries laced with notes of brambly earth, wet stone, savory herbs, and the merest hint of baking spice. Fresh, bright acidity lends structure and balance, bringing the wine to a long finish.
