On the nose, the typical notes of raisined fruit and cherry flavors are dominant. Mild hints of vanilla and spice are present as well. Elegant and warm with a velvety mouthfeel. Incredibly long, persistent finish that lingers on the palate. Amarone ages gracefully for upwards of 10 years if stored properly. - Winemaker Notes
91 points - James Suckling
"An elegant Amarone with some spiced cherries, tile and roasted Mediterranean herbs that follow through to a juicy, medium-bodied palate. Fresh and drinkable with fine-grained tannins. It could do with a tad more mid-palate concentration. A very good Amarone for early drinking."
