65% Pinot Noir, 35% Gamay
The appellation of Cheverny sits northeast of the city of Tours and extends along the left bank of the Loire from Sologne to the outskirts of Orleans. Its symbol is the castle of Cheverny, built in the style of Louis XIII and its wines are vivid, perfumed and full of charm. A benchmark for quality, Domaine Salvard has been in the Delaille family since the 1890's, and the latest generation expertly manages their 30 hectares with semi-organic farming and vineyard management.
Their 2019 Rosé is a blend of 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Gamay made using half free run and half direct press juice.
