This Chianti Classico is elegant, with excellent structure and huge amounts of very accessible fruit. Made from the Sangiovese clone best suite to the terroir at Villa Cafaggio. It is aged for 12 months in traditional Slavonian oak casks, contributing to its wonderful structure, which is balanced by voluptuous fruit. A lovely bright cherry red. Spicy cloves on the nose with a wonderfully refined black cherry and plum fruitiness.
