This Chablis is best matched with classic dishes. Enjoy its refreshing notes as an aperitif served with smoked salmon on toast. During the meal, discover this wine's generosity by pairing it with raw, firm-fleshed oysters.
Château Long-Depaquit is located in the heart of the village of Chablis, in the Yonne department. Its park, planted with hundred-year-old trees and a garden blooming with roses, invites you to take a walk and to a privileged moment, out of time.
An exceptional heritage of 65 hectares, our vineyard is cultivated with a sustainable approach. Yield control and non-interventionist vinification contribute to creating authentic, mineral and elegant wines. Ageing in wood is used sparingly to keep the expression of each terroir as well as possible.
The estate has had a new winery since 2014. More respectful of the environment, it aims to continue to improve the quality of our wines by giving them more purity and precision.
In the north of Burgundy, not far from Auxerre, the Chablis appellation extends over about fifteen kilometres around the commune of the same name.
It is to the monks of the Cistercian abbey of Pontigny that we owe the cultivation of vines in this region.
The vines of the Domaine (28 hectares divided into 34 plots) are planted on rather gentle slopes (5 to 20%) with various exposures. The grapes therefore come from a mosaic of varied terroirs, vinified separately, which brings a beautiful complexity to the wine.
