Anne Amie Wines has entered an exciting new chapter following a transition in ownership and the closing of its longtime Carlton tasting room. The brand is now focused exclusively on wholesale distribution, with longtime Anne Amie veteran Kim McLeod helping guide its future after two decades with the winery. The emphasis remains on thoughtfully made, sustainably sourced Willamette Valley wines that deliver impressive quality and value, now presented with fresh new label artwork.

Cameron Winery is one of the Willamette Valley’s distinctive small producers, founded by John Paul in 1984 in the Dundee Hills. Cameron has a particularly strong focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, drawing inspiration from Burgundy while emphasizing dry farming, old vines, indigenous yeasts and low-intervention winemaking; its tiny Clos Electrique estate vineyard is especially important to the winery’s identity. Cameron also explores Italian varieties such as Nebbiolo and Friulano, giving the winery a wonderfully individual character within Oregon wine.

Luis Cañas is one of the benchmark family estates of Rioja Alavesa, with generations of winemaking history rooted in the village of Villabuena de Álava. A pivotal moment came in 1970, when Luis Cañas began bottling wine under the family name, and the estate later became an important force in Rioja’s movement toward greater emphasis on vineyard quality, fruit and terroir.

Today, the family farms roughly 865 acres divided among hundreds of small vineyard parcels, producing wines celebrated for combining Rioja’s traditional elegance and age-worthiness with freshness, precision and remarkable value. Decanter has described Luis Cañas as playing an “enormous role” in shaping the modern identity of both Rioja Alavesa and Rioja as a whole.
