Since 1620, Château de Pennautier is at the heart of the history of the Languedoc wines. 12 generations succeeded one another in producing exceptional wines. Nicolas de Lorgeril and his wife, Miren de Saint Chamas, have since 1987, grown beyond the Château de Pennautier, the historic family cradle. The Company now owns 6 estates, covering 250 hectares of vines. They represent the most beautiful terroirs of the Languedoc and Roussillon and include 8 Appellations d’Origines Contrôlées (Cabardès, Minervois, Minervois-la-Livinière, Saint-Chinian, Faugères, Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Languedoc). Respect for the terroir and the environment is fundamental to the Lorgeril family’s work, with estates run under organic and integrated farming methods and certified as High Environmental Value Level 3.

The Maison Lorgeril estates are located at the heart of a region of remarkable geological heritage and striking beauty. It is our duty to promote and preserve it and make it accessible to the public. We decided to operate the estates according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, with the ‘High Environmental Value Level 3’ certification.

By choosing to adapt to the life cycle of the wine and to favor a gentle vinification which sublimates the richness of the aromas, we reveal our know-how with wines from the most beautiful AOCs of Languedoc: Cabardès, Corbières, Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Faugères, Languedoc, Minervois, Minervois la Livinière, Picpoul de Pinet, Pic Saint Loup, Saint Chinian, without forgetting the wines with IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) and grape varieties from the cool areas of western Languedoc between Limoux and Carcassonne

O de Rose is a tribute to our terroir and the beauty of our landscapes perfumed with Mediterranean scents. This delicate blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 5% Viognier offers notes of red fruits and citrus mingle together. This beautiful pale-pink color blend of Grenache, Syrah, Viognier is a refreshing and well-balanced rose. It offers a gorgeous mix of upfront citrus, bright spring flowers, red fruit aromas that are framed by hints of crisp mouthwatering saline notes, finishing snappy and fresh. Pair with Mediterranean dishes and serve chilled.

Tasting notes: Peach colour. Intense red fruits on the nose. Ample and crisp in mouth. Balanced and persistant finale. Gastronomic rosé.
