CloseFrom Vineyards to Icons:
Allegrini's vineyards wind through Valpolicella, Lugana and Soave: three prestigious areas of Italian viticulture. Vineyards that shape the landscape and give life to wines that are an expression of the terroir and of a unique and recognizable style, aimed at making the integrity of the fruit the heart of the winemaking choices. Since 2024, all of Allegrini's vineyards in Valpolicella Classica have been located exclusively on hills. The history of Allegrini is closely linked to that of Valpolicella Classica, of which it has been a protagonist since 1854. The winery, founded in Fumane (VR), is to be considered the result of the intelligence and industriousness of Giovanni Allegrini, who in the 1960s transformed the agricultural activity of his ancestors into a successful reality, and was among the first to focus on quality rather than quantity. The innovations he brought about were the basis of a true rebirth for Valpolicella and represent the beginning of the distinctive “Allegrini” style, recognized internationally.

Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre is an elegant and well balanced Italian red wine with good structure and aroma. Ruby red in color with purple hues, this Italian red blend offers light hints of raisins and sophisticated notes of vanilla, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. Featuring a long, velvety finish and soft wine tannins, this full bodied Italian wine is great on its own or paired with any meal. From Veronese IGT, Allegrini's red wine blend is the historic combination of rondinella and corvina wine grapes with the addition of a small quantity of sangiovese. This full bodied red wine can be enjoyed now, or it can be aged for up to 10 years.
Palazzo della Torre easily pairs with various Italian dishes, above all risottos, especially those flavored with saffron, porcini mushrooms and pork; classic dishes such as pasta with Amatriciana and Carbonara sauces, baked lasagna, gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese and walnuts; grilled meats and roasts. It also excels when matched with Parma ham and fine-cured Zibello pork loin, as well as medium-matured cheeses, especially Parmigiano Reggiano (Parmesan), pecorino and Monte Veronese. - Winery Notes
