Al and Andy tasted this recently and thought it was a beautiful wine that lovers of Italian reds and (Barbera in particular) would enjoy. Wine Enthusiast describes it as “… the culmination of good farming and modern winemaking. Dense and rich fruits mixed with toasted oak notes form the core of the nose. Hints of black cherries and plums take the lead but eventually give way to sweet baking spices and floral notes. The wine is extracted and lush on the palate but is brightened up on the finish with marvelous and well-balanced acidity - 90pts.”
