90 Points - "The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino lifts up with a classic display of wild strawberries and cherries complemented by cedar shavings and textbook Tuscan dust. This initially soothes with its silky textures and ripe red fruits, but tension quickly builds as brisk acids mingle with saturating mineral tones and grippy tannins toward the close. Savory spices, inner rose and violets linger through the long, structured finale. Give the 2013 another two to three years to soften a bit more." - Vinous

The flagship bottling of the estate, fruit comes from a mix of their vineyard holdings, most of which are located on the hill of Montosoli endowing this wine with a more lifted and floral character than is typical of most of Montalcino.
Brunello di Montalcino is a visibly limpid, brilliant wine, with a bright garnet color. It has an intense perfume, persistent, ample and ethereal. One can recognize scents of undergrowth, aromatic wood, berries, light vanilla and jam. To the taste the wine has an elegant harmonious body, vigorous and racy, it is dry with a lengthy aromatic persistence.

This has a perfumed nose of cloves, lavender and chocolate-coated raspberries and plums. Some macadamia nut and praline. This has a full body and sleek, well knit tannins. There is elegance from layers of praline and dried raspberries. Drink after 2024.

Crushed berry, wild herb and violet aromas lift out of the glass. Poised and medium bodied, the vibrant, savory palate features juicy red cherry, orange zest and star anise accompanied by taut, polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it tangy. Drink 2023–2028.

A fresh and floral red, exuding red berry aromas. Elegant and vibrant, featuring strawberry, cherry, rose and mineral flavors. This is also linear and focused, gaining speed through the refined finish. Sangiovese. Best from 2024 through 2040.

Casanuova delle Cerbaie begins its production of wines in the early 80s, thanks to the great passion and love for the lives of a lady of German origins, in 2008 the estate was bought by an authoritative New York gentleman who has always been passionate about Tuscany. di Montalcino and its great wines. The splendid position and the excellent wine produced proved to be a winning combination and immediately gave life to this new and fascinating experience. Since then, considerable investments have been made and great innovative improvements have been made to produce a wine of high quality and infinite elegance.
Located just below the village of Montalcino in the northern sector of the region, the vineyards of Casanuova delle Cerbaie are located from 250 to 350 meters above sea level, on land dating back to the Eocene era of the Cenozoic era, characterized by limestone, marly, clayey and conglomerates. Their exposure mainly south-west, allows them to receive the best sunlight throughout the day, away from both the cold winds of the north wind and hot winds as the sirocco. The vineyards are also developed on the prestigious hill of Montosoli and continue to extend to the foot of the hill on which stands Montalcino. The nature of the land and its enviable position allow to obtain excellent quality results, enriching the Brunello produced in this area of ??a particular variety of perfumes. To date, the estate has 15 hectares of land, of which about 10 are vineyards registered with San Giovese, 2 of olive groves, 3 of woods and arable land
