Our Approach
At SALDO we look to explore the unknown, reconsider the overlooked, and uncover what’s next in the world of wine. Our winemaking team is unafraid to explore uncharted territory and challenge preconceived notions of luxury to bring you high quality wines you didn’t see coming.​

We are known for our flagship Zinfandel, a wine that launched almost 20 years ago and helped reinvigorate an overlooked California varietal. Since then, we have launched a Red Blend, Chenin Blanc and Shiraz, staying off the beaten track of the more common varietals and instead bringing more unexpected offerings to help uncover what’s next.​

At SALDO, the only thing better than creating our unexpected wines is sharing them with other curious and exploratory wine drinkers and we cannot wait to have you apart of our journey.

Our Label
Our name, SALDO, comes from the Italian word for “I join or I weld” and was chosen to reflect our winemaking approach to welding together our wines from grapes from the best vineyards across the world​.

SALDO winemakers are meticulous in their craft, joining and welding together wines that aim to stay off the beaten track and open people’s minds to what fine wine can really be.

A blend of Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Syrah, this wine is approachable and serious, bold and memorable. On the palate, it offers notes of black cherries and baking spices, with plenty of density and body.
