The vineyards are located on a hillside in the commune of Baubigny. "La Croix de Choux" and "Les Hersées" are the main localities. The land is at an altitude of approximately 350m with a 15% slope and a southern exposure. The soil is clay-limestone, shallow, and slightly marly.
This climate gives the Pinot Noir reds a freshness that highlights the fruitiness of these wines. The vines are cultivated in a lyre-shaped manner with grass cover, to benefit from maximum sunshine.
