Pineapple, apricot, and preserved lemons on the nose. Notes of grapefruit pith and vanilla on the palate, framed by bright acidity. Palate staining and rich, and with wonderful length. - Winemaker Notes

"As always this wine has such a sense of being the complete Chablis. Nothing too exuberant, just a bench of thoroughbred fruit grown on ideal limestone. Some little detail here with concentrated sniffing, and the palate is beautiful. A really classy, stylish, long term Clos in perfect balance. Don’t hesitate. Well harnessed succulence."

"A pungent nose of wood and firm reduction leads to detailed and powerful flavors that are borderline painfully intense before concluding in a mineral-driven, chiseled and compact finale. This is clearly built-to-age and like any respectable example of Les Clos, a wine that's going to need at least some patience."
