CloseCHATEAU DE CAUNETTES
The northernmost estate in Languedoc in the heart of a rare terroir
At the heart of Appellation Cabardès, in one of the highest and most westerly areas of the appellation and Languedoc, near the village of Moussoulens, the vineyard enjoys a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees to the south. They can be seen over nearly 100 kilometers on sunny days. The terroir is clay-limestone with a strong limestone predominance and benefits from the alternation of oceanic and Mediterranean climate, a unique characteristic of the AOP Cabardès. A wine-growing terroir par excellence, it is also a magnificent black truffle terroir and is home to the departmental truffle conservatory.
