Our rigor, our passion and our diligence are values which each year earn us recognition for our quality wines throughout the world. From the vine to the bottle, we are increasing our efforts to preserve our planet, as well as the purity of our wines. A family estate for generations, Domaine Guy Allion has been passed down in the Allion family for generations. From now on, Cédric Allion is the owner and winemaker where he passes on his knowledge every day to his sons: Clément and Camille.

In the heart of the Cher Valley: The Domaine du Haut Perron vineyard extends mainly on the hillsides of the Cher overlooking the right bank in the communes of Thésée and Monthou sur Cher. Its exposure is ideal: South-west to south-east. The soils favorable to viticulture are characterized by shallow clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils with the presence of flint which we call “Parakeets” in the region. The subsoil is mainly limestone. These terroirs often benefit from exposure on the first slopes, they have a marked slope which allows satisfactory natural drainage, essential for producing high quality wines in a semi-oceanic climate.

Our Touraine vineyard extends on the right bank of the Cher, in the Loir-et-Cher department. Concentrated in the valley, on the upper slopes characterized by parakeets – clay-limestone soils. Our excellent exposure, as well as the micro-climate of the Cher valley, are favorable to the cultivation of the grape varieties which make up the identity of Touraine. In our vineyards, Sauvignon is the king of whites, its aromatic power matched only by its characteristic freshness. In red, our Gamay is a treasure that is the fruit of a manual harvest. The Pinot Noir also expresses itself in all its finesse, and the Côt in all its power.

Recognition in the Touraine Chenonceaux Appellation was achieved after several years of rigorous work selecting the best terroirs and the vintages resulting from them. Passion and qualitative efforts have been rewarded by the creation of this new appellation. In white, Sauvignon has great aromatic intensity revealing aromas of ripe and exotic fruits. It is ample, fatty, powerful thanks to long aging on fine lees. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes show all their qualities: the delicate nose has aromas of white flowers, such as blackcurrant and box tree. The balance and the roundness of the mouth have flavors of passionfruits and grapefruit. A wine for all occasions, especially delicious chilled 50 degrees F. as an aperitif, with asparagus, seafood, fish or goat cheese.
