Winemaking for this little estate is now in the hands of the 10^th generation, this family knows its way around a Sauvignon Blanc or two. This Sancerre moves away from the big green and herbal aromas and into a more tropical, plush and sensual side of things. Passionfruit, pink grapefruit, guava, and a scrape of minerals. Nicely round in the mouth with more of that tropical fruit coming in, but on the palate it is cut with more tang and more citrus, along with a solid core of acidity. Beautifully balanced wine that doesn’t need anything to make it shine. That said, anything you would squeeze lemon on would be gorgeous with this wine.
