Our J winemaking team, led by Nicole Hitchcock, strives to translate the diversity of the Russian River Valley – from the cool, coastal locations to the bright, sun-drenched hillsides – to the bottle. Each estate vineyard offers a distinct expression of a different location within the vast Russian River Valley AVA.

Our winemaking philosophy begins with sourcing the best fruit at the optimal time from the best locations in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma County. Diverse soils and cool, coastal micro-climates create unique growing conditions to maximize flavor and expression. In the renowned wine growing region, J Vineyards & Winery are true stewards of the land, tending to cool-climate grape varieties that offer fruit forward flavors and a crisp natural acidity.

OUR VINEYARDS
Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley renowned for its cool-climate vineyard sites and diverse soil types. And in more recent years, it’s known as the home of J.

Founded in 1986, J Vineyards was established to produce Traditional Method sparkling wines as well as superlative varietal wines. Each of our estate vineyards offers a subtly different combination of soil and climate.

Combined with our traditional and labor-intensive harvesting and winemaking techniques, they produce some of the most exceptional wines to be found in the region.

J Cuvée 20 Brut opens with nuanced aromas of toasted almond, followed by notes of Braeburn apple, dried cranberry and ginger snap. A delicate dance of bubbles leads to a soft palate with flavors of lemon meringue pie, as the wine’s creaminess is whisked away by a lively finish.
