Ultra is our flagship collection of wines. A powerful and diverse range where each wine is a faithful representation of its origin and variety. Wines with a strong character that travel from Mendoza to Patagonia to deliver high-flying flavors and aromas. Kaiken Ultra Malbec combines the best terroirs of the famed Uco Valley. Grapes from Los Chacayes, Altamira, and Gualtallary come together to create an exceptional wine.

Intense and bright red in color with violet tones and great depth. The wine's aromas are intense and unfold with the spice and floral notes very characteristic of the Uco Valley. They're joined by notes of black fruit such as blueberry and blackberry, typical of the variety. The wine has lots of structure, smooth tannins, and a long, fresh, and complex finish. The fruit notes reappear on the palate, giving way to touches of rosemary, thyme, and dried flowers. - Winemaker Notes

LOS CHACAYES
Located in the Tunuyán department of the great Uco Valley, 110 km the city of Mendoza, and 1,250 metres a.s.l. Of the 150 hectares, 35.5 are planted with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon trained to high vertical shoot positioning, along with bush-trained Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The sandy and skeletal soils are rather deep, allowing for good root system development. The large diurnal temperature range of the zone and the cool
autumn produces grapes with great colour intensity and pronounced structure.

GUALTALLARY
Gualtallary is one of the highest areas in Mendoza (1,300-1,660 metres a.s.l), therefore, vines benefit a cooler climate than in other regions. Its calcareous poor dessert soils
combined with the cold climate conditions provide intense and very elegant wines.

ALTAMIRA
Paraje Altamira is a well-known winemaking region in the San Carlos department of the Uco Valley. This district is 112 km south of the city of Mendoza and right in the heart of the alluvial cone of the Tunuyán River, which makes it easier to understand the heterogeneity of its soils. Marked by cold nights and warm temperatures during the day, the area is prone to both early and late frosts. . Wines this vineyard have a dark fruit profile, great structure, and marked minerality.
