We at Rodney Strong are united by our passion for crafting the highest quality wines from the very best vineyards across Sonoma County. With over 60 years of family ownership and 823 acres of estate vineyards, we exemplify Cabernet and what it means to be world class Sonoma quality. We are united by our passion for Sonoma County, Cabernet Sauvignon and the belief that nothing brings people together better than sharing superb experiences with a great bottle of Rodney Strong wine.

History:
This wine is a delicate process in which our artisanal winemaking craft is carefully balanced with innovation from one of the world's best Pinot Noir region - the Sonoma Coast in Sonoma County.

The Vintage and Vineyard:
The 2022 vintage started out unseasonably warm, with spring-like days in February and March ranging from low 60s to low 70s. A few days of 90 degrees F in early April warmed up the ground, promoting growth in the vines while a few more inches of welcome rain fell in mid-April. Despite an unusual rainstorm, June saw two brief 100 degree F peaks before the end of the month. Overall, this vintage was very mild with consistent 85-90 degree F days into August. The balance of daytime heat and coastal winds led us to beautiful sugars and acidity, with harvest taking place on August 22nd through September 12th.

Tasting:
100% Pinot Noir ~ 100% fermented cold in stainless steel tanks at 50 degrees F. The beautifully colored, fresh and vibrant Rose of Pinot Noir has aromas and flavors of strawberry, melon and tropical fruits. Brilliant and bright with fresh acidity, notes of citrus and a clean finish, enjoy this Rose of Pinot Noir with goat cheese, fresh Thai dishes or spicy tacos.
