Viña Tinajas del Maule was founded in 1997 when the Mena Undurraga family acquired some old vineyards in the town of Villa Alegre, in the Maule region.Upon settling in, the idea was to strengthen the vineyards that had been in operation since 1918 and take advantage of the area's vast potential. Thus, they incorporated the benefits of stainless steel and cutting-edge technology into the adobe and oak barrel cellars.
