TIMBRUS is a project to create new generation wines in the premium category in the Republic of Moldova. The name comes from the word «stamp» - fiscal or postal, which is a symbol of the letter, personally handed to the recipient. TIMBRUS wines are a personal message from the winemaker, addressed to all those who know how to truly appreciate quality wines. It is a communication of a unique personality of the winemaker who creates world-class wines in Moldova. This message contains the secret of a unique wine, the uniqueness of Timbrus wines. A secret, which cannot be read or seen, but only felt and acquired by tasting this wine.

The history of TIMBRUS wines begins in 2008 with the purchase of agricultural land in the Purcari microzone, the most famous and famous wine region in Moldova, known since the 19th century for its wines of international quality.

The choice of terroir for the creation of TIMBRUS wines was an important decision taken by the project's shareholders , a solution that conditioned the main objective of the project, namely, the production of world-class domestic wines.
The TIMBRUS winemaker is involved in the entire process of wine creation, from the cultivation of the vine to the production stage and the bottling of the wines.
As a result, we managed to create the refined and elegant TIMBRUS wines, which are distinguished by a truly European, noble style. Coming from the unique combination of the nature of the Purcari region, the traditions of Moldovan winemaking and the craftsmanship of European and local specialists, TIMBRUS wines embody an author's vision of the future of Moldovan winemaking.

Creating premium category wines, TIMBRUS plans to build a complex unlike any other wine enterprise in Moldova. Saperavi is considered one of the most ancient red grape varieties. Saperavi, which means “dye” or “dyer”, is one of few famous grape varieties that have red grape pulp besides the red grape skin, the fact that makes the wine color being deep ruby. Saperavi has a huge potential to ageing, as the result of which its aroma and taste develop and gain fullness.

Ageing – in oak barrels for not less than 12 months.
Color – deep ruby.
Aroma – complex with a predominance of bilberry, cherry, pomegranate and prunes.
