A peppery, tight and vibrant syrah with aromas of grilled rosemary, garrigue, peppered meat and blackcurrants. Gently grippy, stemmy tannins here, with a medium body and wild-herb character. 100% syrah. Drink or hold.
• Practicing Organic/Sustainable. • 100% Syrah. • Columbia Valley AVA. • Loess, silty loam, loamy sand soils. • Hand-harvested. • Fermented in a mix of stainless steel and concrete tanks • Mix of punch-downs and pump-overs for two weeks. • 50% whole-cluster. • Aged 20 months in French oak (20% new). • Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
