CloseOUR WINERY: Valdo is a name that instantly brings to mind the land it belongs to, Valdobbiadene. A name inextricably linked to the Bolla family, which has been in the wine-making industry for more than 90 years. Considered one of the oldest in the area, over the course of three generations it has been able to spread the culture of Prosecco in Italy and throughout the world.
The other key virtue is its commitment to the land that translates into support initiatives but can also be found in sales and production choices aimed at promoting specific grape varieties.
The Valdo wineries were established at the heart of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, a unique land and Unesco World Heritage, just half an hour from the magnificent city of Venice. The love story between Valdo and this land rewarded by nature and at the heart of the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG production is continually evolving. Year after year, Valdo has written new pages, describing how passion, together with tradition and innovation, can lead to the creation of unique Sparkling wines.
All this would not be possible without the unceasing collaboration of 70 grape growers who grow the grapes and supply them to the winery. The relationship between Valdo and its grape growers is a long-standing one, an alliance based on trust, respect and reciprocal exchange. The winery offers them an agronomic and wine-making consultancy, providing them with support from the pruning stages of the grapevines to choosing the ideal period for harvesting.
