Viña Laurent Description
Damien Laurent grew up among vineyards and used to help his grandfather to fill up wine barrels. After managing Chateau L'Escart in Bordeaux for 12 years, together with his Chilean wife Lorena, he looked for a ‘terroir’ where they could bring their passion to life by making their own wines. Attracted by the beautiful landscape of the Maipo Valley, they discovered its incredible potential, planting their first vineyard in 2008. Their vine growing approach follows a strict quality control based on their French standards, be it on their own vineyards or overseeing production of the grapes they buy in.

Laurent is a project by Damien and Lorena. Damien is a French winemaker who, for many years, was at the helm of Chateau l’Escart in Bordeaux; Lorena had joined the Chateau from Chile. They eventually got together and decided to move back to Chile and start their own winery. Laurent was born in 2008 with their first vineyard.

This is a very fresh Chardonnay with notes of yellow apple, cantaloupe, and white flowers. Uncomplicated, straightforward wine that sometimes is just what we need. Pair it with a nice mushroom risotto or a light pasta.

Pair also with pizza, chicken, tacos.
