A bit poetically, the 2023 is almost entirely sourced from vineyards that Pops used during the glory years of Ravenswood Winery: Old Hill, Belloni, Teldeschi, and Monte Rosso. Flashy and expressive, this wine shows the heights that great Zinfandel can achieve. Aged in a bit more new oak than we normally use, this “super-cuvee” of sorts leans into the stylish and slightly more opulent side of Zinfandel’s personality.
