Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bedrock and Montecillo vineyards in Sonoma. The winemakers describe the evolution of this release: "For the last few years, this wine has been made as a home for a few extra barrels of Monte Rosso and Montecillo that don’t necessarily fit into the single-vineyard wines. I think this has resulted in a very nice wine for the price, but we were limited in our ability to sculpt the wine in the same way as our Old Vine Zin or California Syrah, which we view as our “Intro to Bedrock” offerings.  I think will develop better than most Cab in the price range but I think the improved focus has made this both a bit more complete and friendlier for your average weeknight.
