Cherry, raspberry and redcurrant with hints of peony and white pepper. Lively and energetic on the attack, with fine tannins, a smooth texture and a long, mineral finish. Best from 2026 and over the following five to seven years.

Close100% Pinot Noir
Food pairings: Roast duck, veal, mushroom dishes, charcuterie and Burgundian cheeses such as Époisses or Cîteaux.
Winemaking: After a cold pre-fermentation maceration in concrete vats, the wine ferments with one or two pump-overs a day and punch-downs toward the end. It then ages for about 10 months in barrel, none of it new.
Vineyards and terroir: The grapes come from the lieu-dit Au Défoi in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, on clay-limestone soil.
Family and history: Based in Fixin, the domaine unites two Côte de Nuits families: Amélie Berthaut inherited the vineyards of her father, Denis Berthaut, along with part of those of her mother's family, the Gerbets of Vosne-Romanée. The family's roots in Fixin go back to 1693.
