Château Saint-André Corbin is a historic wine estate situated in the Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion appellation, a satellite of the renowned Saint-Émilion region in Bordeaux, France. The estate's origins trace back to the 4th century, with historical records indicating ownership by the Roman poet and statesman Ausonius. Archaeological excavations have unearthed significant artifacts, including intact statues of Diana and Venus now housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, underscoring the estate's rich heritage (an old limestone statue found in the vineyard pictured above).
The property is owned by the dynamic Saby family who have been making wine on the right bank for 9 generations. Today, brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Christophe Saby (pictured above), both of whom are experienced oenologists and agricultural engineers, own and manage the estate as well as numerous ones in the St. Emilion region of Bordeaux.
