Del Dotto Napa Valley
Del Dotto Vineyards traces its family winemaking heritage to Italy, with roots the family dates to the 1400s and Venetian ancestry reaching back to 1150. Dave and Yolanda Del Dotto established their Napa Valley story in 1988 with the purchase of a Rutherford estate, planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Sangiovese there in 1990. Over the following decades, the family assembled vineyards across some of Napa Valley’s celebrated appellations while becoming particularly known for immersive cave tastings that explore how different oak barrels shape a wine’s character.
Today, Dave and Yolanda, together with their children Desiree and Giovanni (family pictured above), continue the family-run estate, blending their Italian heritage with a distinctly Napa Valley approach to vineyard selection, barrel aging and richly expressive wines.
