CloseThe domain was established in 1999 by Jean-Louis Giornal, At that time he was an accountant for winegrowers and had for some years wished to be a winegrower himself. In 1999 he got the opportunity to aquire 4 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape and 2 ha of Cotes du Rhone from a family friend.
As he is a friend of François Perrin at Chateau de Beaucastel he got the chance to be able to do the winemaking process at the Perrin’s Family site Grand Prébois. He added some vineyards and when he retired he left 7 ha of Chateauneuf du Pape, 5 ha. of Cotes du Rhone and 4,3 ha of Vin de France with Syrah and Viognier.
Today it's Jean-Louis Giornal's daugther and Florence Wesch Giornal and her husbond Thomas Wesch who is in charge.
