Close100% Pinot Noir
Food pairings: Roast duck, herb-crusted salmon, mushroom risotto, roast chicken, and soft cheeses.
Winemaking: Les Pommiers is EnRoute's flagship Russian River Valley Pinot Noir blend. Fruit is drawn primarily from Green Valley and upper Middle Reach sites; the wine is crafted for purity of fruit, silky tannins and vibrant acidity.
Vineyards and terroir: Named for the apple orchards of the Russian River Valley's agricultural past. Key sources include Northern Spy (a former apple orchard on Goldridge soils in Green Valley), Amber Ridge in the upper Middle Reach, and Manzana Vineyard — cool, fog-influenced sites that give the blend its balance of elegance and intensity.
Family and history: EnRoute is Far Niente's Russian River Valley Pinot Noir house, devoted to cool-climate Pinot from estate and partner vineyards in Sonoma County.
