Generous red and black fruit meets subtle oak on a supple, velvety palate. Freshness, fine tannins and a long finish make La Framboisière a deliciously expressive Mercurey.
Available in store
Close100% Pinot Noir
Food pairings: Roast pork, duck breast, poultry and mild cheeses.
Winemaking: The 2024 wine includes 25% whole clusters. Pump-overs during 15–19 days of vatting precede gentle pressing and 13–14 months in French oak, including 20% new barrels.
Vineyards and terroir: La Framboisière has been a Domaine Faiveley monopole since 1933. Its shallow, pebbly clay-limestone soils give excellent drainage, with more clay and silt at the foot of the slope.
Family and history: The Faiveley family has made Burgundy wines since 1825. The domaine is now led by Erwan and Eve Faiveley.
