The story of Harvey & Harriet begins with its distinctive name. Harvey and Harriet Jensen were the parents of Booker founder Eric Jensen, who wanted to create an honest and delicious wine that hardworking people like his parents would love. Starting with the 2017 vintage, he went to work sourcing grapes from his favorite sustainably grown vineyards, farmed by friends. 

“The idea was to create this incredible wine, wholesomely grown from the best Paso Robles fruit, and made with care—no added sugars, no junk,” Jensen says. 

The inaugural Harvey & Harriet Red Blend proved to be a smash hit, and ultimately spawned a small family of wines including the Harvey & Harriet White Blend and Harvey & Harriet Rosé. 

The common thread among all Harvey & Harriet wines is a dedication to high-integrity winemaking. Right from the start, Jensen was a stickler for how the wine was grown and made. He insisted that the fruit from his Paso Robles grower friends be farmed to the high standards of his own Booker estate, with chemical-free organic practices and a commitment to resource conservation. 

This founding mindset persists today with Senior Vineyard Manager Hilary Graves taking care to build personal connections with Harvey & Harriet’s partner growers in Paso Robles.
