If you like big, powerful, mountain-grown Cabernet, sit up and pay attention! Once known as Hidden Ridge, Immortal Estate is a project from Tim Martin of cult Napa winery Tusk. The winemaker at Immortal is Tim Milos, who has consulted for some of the biggest names in the region. This estate has a long history of producing intense, rich, bold Cabernets that combine tremendous fruit concentration and flesh with an underlying savory, rocky minerality. Robert Parker himself once proclaimed, “These are clearly world-class Cabernet Sauvignons and should be considered by any serious collector for their cellars.”

Hailing from the Sonoma side of Mount Veeder, this wine shares plenty of character with its Napa neighbors on the southern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. Here, extremely rocky soils force the vines to struggle, producing intensely concentrated flavors, while the wild chaparral covering the mountainsides lends another layer of savory complexity that has become part of the estate’s signature.
