The grapes were sourced from the Maremma area.
90% - Cabernet Sauvignon
10% - Petit Verdot
Grapes are sourced from Maremma, and hand harvested. From there,
alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks that allow
for a longer maceration period. The varietals are separately aged in
new and used French oak for 10 months, then blended in stainless
steel tanks for 4 months for full integration. Finally, bottled and rested
for 2 to 3 months before release.
Fresh blackberry and black currant on the nose with hints of spice.
The palate is balanced with silky tannins, medium plus acidity and a
long finish.
