Close100% Pinot Noir
Food pairings: Herb-roasted chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom pasta, pork chops, and soft-ripened cheeses.
Winemaking: Indigenous-yeast fermentation in French oak, on the lees with daily bâtonnage, then aged 10 months in French oak (50% new / 50% neutral). Unfined and unfiltered. Winemakers Courtney Robinett Wagoner and consulting Erin Green.
Vineyards and terroir: Curated from Martinelli family estate Pinot vineyards grown primarily in the Sonoma Coast AVA—Bella Vigna means "beautiful vines." The team selects barrels that best show the flavor profiles of these small estate sites combined into one approachable appellation blend.
Family and history: Martinelli has farmed in Sonoma County since the 1880s; today Lee Martinelli Jr. farms alongside a multi-generation family team, and the winery still occupies the old hop barn on River Road in Windsor.
