Winemaking: Passionnément is a cuvée selection of the finest barrels. The 2020 was harvested in September 2020, picked by hand at night into small lugs and sorted cluster by cluster and berry by berry. It fermented on native yeasts with punch-downs in stainless steel tanks and Darnajou French oak puncheons, was raised for 16 months in French oak barrels from selected artisan coopers, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Vineyards and terroir: The wine showcases the synergy among three Morlet Family estate vineyards: 'Cœur de Vallée' on the Oakville Bench, 'Morlet Estate' in the foothills of St. Helena, and 'Mon Chevalier' in Knights Valley. All are farmed organically and sustainably by the full-time Morlet farming team.

Family and history: The name comes from the French saying "Je t'aime, un peu, beaucoup, passionnément!" (I love you, a little, a lot, passionately!), and the wine is dedicated to Jodie Morlet, who leads the family winery as proprietor. Her husband, Luc Morlet, crafts the wines with what the family calls a passionate, uncompromised pursuit of quality.
