*Danielle Callegari loves to learn about, and consume, food and wine. She holds a Ph.D. in Italian Studies from New York University and is the author of many books and articles. While completing her graduate work focused on medieval literature and food, she spent several years researching and teaching in Florence, Italy. She later taught at UC Berkeley and UC Davis, before arriving at Dartmouth College where she now teaches courses in Italian studies and food studies.
