Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a significant player in the Rhône Valley wine scene and has been for generation after generation, offering a range of wines that showcase the region’s diverse terroirs and grape varieties.
The winery is particularly renowned for its wines from the Northern Rhône, including Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Cornas. These wines are primarily based on Syrah.
Caroline Frey, the famous Bordeaux winemaker who also owns Chateau La Lagune amongst others, has done wonders for the Paul Jaboulet estate since she took over back in 2006. She came in and immediately put an emphasis on the winemaking process, the equipment and the vineyard practices, and all the critics are unanimous in their praise of her renovations.
