HISTORY
The KITZ line comprises the only two blends from the Rottensteiner winery and bears the subtitle WINES FOR FRIENDS. Two modern wines that are uncomplicated, versatile and fresh. The name KITZ is inspired by the young of our heraldic animal, the ibex.
ORIGIN
This red blend is mainly composed of the two autochthonous grape varieties Schiava and Lagrein, with a hint of Merlot. The freshness and fruitiness of the Schiava combines with the power and complexity of the Lagrein and is rounded off by the fullness and sweetness of the Merlot.
VINIFICATION
The wine matures in stainless steel tanks to best preserve the fruity notes, maintaining a very fresh drinkability without becoming too full-bodied.
