Sweet aromatics of peanut brittle and caramel with a touch of anise, then turbinado sugar, bourbon and muddled Luxardo cherry. Warm, rich and elegant rather than herbaceous, with solid acid and a lingering finish.

Close100% Cabernet Franc
Food pairings: Roast duck, herb-crusted pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, grilled vegetables and soft cheeses.
Scores:
Winemaking: Estate Copeland Vineyard Cabernet Franc aged 51 months in 100% new French oak. Part of the Brothers Reserve Collection, barrels chosen when both Matt and Patrick Rawn agreed.
Vineyards and terroir: Copeland Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills of Yakima Valley, farmed by the Rawn brothers. Cabernet Franc from this site tends warm and rich rather than green when the grapes are grown carefully.
Family and history: Matthew and Patrick Rawn founded Two Mountain Winery on land their grandfather Phil Schmidt farmed since 1951. They planted Copeland in 2000, bought the operation in 2006, and named the winery for Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier visible from the vines. The Brothers Reserve Collection returns to their early barrel-selection ritual.
