Blend of 85% Garnacha, 15% Tempranillo

As always, it’s medium-bodied and feels full and round and loaded with boatloads of ripe black cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of fresh violets and a touch of earthy licorice. What’s different about the 2020 – other than the new, slightly modern, label – is that the tannins that make this such a great food wine are a bit softer and more supple than usual. And that there’s a new level of freshness that adds “thirst quenching” to the list of descriptors and will keep you coming back for more. As Josh Raynolds said about the 2019, “This wine is ridiculously easy to drink and delivers really great value.”
